I always enjoy a brand with creative names and Pawsitive Brews is creating blends that certainly matche their mission. So who could turn down trying their Orange Pooch-Koe, which is a smooth medium bodied pekoe blend from one of the largest and oldest tea estates in Sri Lanka — the Kenilworth Estate.
Situated in the district of Nuwara Eliya, this region is historically significant as the site of the first tea plantation of Ceylon, established by British planters in 1880, the estate derives its name from Kenilworth Castle Warwickshire.
The plantation has since become synonymous with premium quality teas produced in Ceylon.
I have had many of their Ceylon’s in the past and always find them to be such a treat. Partnered with a company whose very mission is one I wholeheartedly support, I simply couldn’t resist starting my day with a cold brewed pitcher of this blend.
Pawsitive Brews was born from years of experience in the tea industry and carry organic and ethically sourced teas. Every cup of tea you enjoy contributes to a greater mission — to support animal rescues across Texas and beyond. With 50% of their profits dedicated to rescue efforts, each brew becomes a lifeline for dogs in need.
Their Orange Pooch-Koe offers a bright medium bodied blend with subtle citrus notes which really shine in the cold brew. As a cold brew it offers a smooth, less bitter taste with subtle earthy and malty notes with a crisp and invigorating flavor.
Taken together, it is a welcome and enjoyable pawsitive experience.
